Second Cup: Construction of a Lightweight Cafe Pavilion

The construction and assembly works for a custom cafe pavilion designed for the world-renowned “Second Cup” brand have been successfully completed by the Man-G Design & Construction team. The key feature of this project is the creation of a durable and modern space in a short timeframe through the application of lightweight metal structures.

Technical Works Executed: During the project’s execution, the following comprehensive works were performed with engineering precision:

• Foundation and Metal Frame: To ensure the stability of the cafe pavilion, fastening works were carried out using M16 stainless steel anchor bolts. Columns and a sub-frame system were installed using colored metal box profiles (100x100x5 mm).

• Structural Systems: The sub-floor grid, belt ties, trusses, and connecting beams made of metal box profiles were assembled in accordance with high technical standards.

• Insulation and Roofing: The roof of the building was covered with special 50 mm sandwich panels, providing both excellent insulation and long-term durability.

• Facade and Exterior Design: The exterior walls were enclosed using 80 mm double-sided colored sandwich panels. To complete the aesthetic appearance of the facade, decorative aluminum box profiles (100×20 mm) were applied.

• Final Finishing: The parapet sections were assembled with metal structures and clad with non-combustible aluminum composite material (Alucobond), delivering the project in a fully completed state.
